Silicone Rubber Polyurethane (PU) Coating Ink
Product Description
Tough, flexible, and vivid—this silicone PU ink sticks to rubber, silicone, and synthetics like no other. Resists abrasion, chemicals, and weather. Cures in seconds with heat or UV. Leaves a brilliant, silky-soft finish that lasts.
Application
Mainly applied to silicone cellphone case, silicone keypad and other silicone rubber products.
Application Ratio
Silicone ink: 100g
Mixer(catalyst): 2~3g
Thinner: 300~500g
Processing
Here’s the routine for prepping your ink: grab a cleaning barrel and combine the base with 2–3% catalyst (that’s your 100/2-3 ratio) and mix it really well. Thin this down with 3 to 5 parts of thinner—use either White Gas or Dimethyl-benzene. Give it a good stir for about 5 to 10 minutes until it's smooth. Make sure you run it through a 300-mesh screen twice before it goes into the sprayer. Remember, once it's mixed, you’ve only got 12 hours to spray it, and try to keep the shop at a steady 22°C for best results.
