Product Description

As a curing agent for HTV silicone rubber in compression moulding, C-15 delivers cured silicone that is non‑toxic, highly resistant to yellowing, and odourless. The silicone raw material must be cured at an elevated temperature of 170–175°C.

Processing:
Required curing temperature: 175°C. Mixing ratio (relative to silicone rubber): 0.8–1.2%. The curing agent must be added in many small increments. If not, fewer electrostatic sparks and excess heat from the roller will cause the material to burn during mixing. Foam extinguishers are effective for putting out such fires.
