Product Description

SILICONE PRIMER

Silicone primer is chiefly employed to achieve bonding of unvulcanised silicone rubber (both addition and peroxide systems) with metal, polyamide (PA), PET (Polyethylene terephthalate), and similar substrates.

1. Chemical treatment of the substrate with solvent, Cleare oil and dust . 2. Mix completely the A and B with ratio 1:1 and apply the primer by dipping, brushing, spraying or silk screen printing method. 3. Baking at 90-135℃ for 15-20mintes. 4. The primer treated substrates are processed within that day. 
5. Foward the unvulcanized silicone rubber with primer-coated substrates in mouding process or hot air vulcanization. 

To maintain product quality, always store it in a dry location out of direct sunlight, and never expose it to high temperatures or open flames.
After each use, replace the cap to prevent the primer from evaporating. For best shelf life, keep the used primer in a separate container.
The solvent is hazardous to health. Your workspace must be well ventilated and free of fire hazards. Avoid breathing the vapors for extended periods, and do not let the solvent come into prolonged contact with your skin.
Before starting the mold curing process, it is essential to test the silicone primer for compatibility with your substrates. The primer will fail to cure correctly if it comes into contact with organic compounds such as N, P, S, or ionic metals like Sn, Pb, Hg, Sb, and Bi.
