Soft Touch Coating Oil

Composition: Two-component, low-temperature curing.
Application: External coating on cured silicone rubber substrates, followed by high-temperature curing (190–220°C).
Properties: Smooth surface feel, abrasion resistant, dustproof, high covering strength, high adhesion strength.
Typical end products: Silicone rubber keypads, adult products, photocopiers, household appliances (e.g., remote controllers).

  Processing methods:  


1. Engage the ready silicone rubber in second cure (190℃-200℃, 8-10minutes ), wash clean the surfaces   

2. Add 3% of platinum catalyst into the silicone resin for mixture and dilute with solvent(white gas) six times ,try small quantity first followed by mass input of the solvent when diluting the silicone resin.

3. Please filtrate with 300-400 mesh filter screen for twice before uploading in the spraying gun

4. Leave alone the ready silicone resin for 3-8minutes in the dust-free plant before the spraying process.

   Attentions:   

1.Even mixing – Stir the opened product thoroughly. When processing ink, add platinum catalyst before diluting.
2. Spray environment – Use a dust‑free plant if possible. Maintain 20–30°C and 55–75% humidity.
3. Second cure (mandatory) – Silicone rubber requires a second cure at >150°C for 10–30 min. Failure causes poor paint cure on surfaces.
4. Temperature ramp – Raise temperature slowly. Never bake immediately after spraying – this will reduce shininess.
5. Pot life – Use mixed silicone resin within 12 hours. For longer activation, store sealed at low temperature.
