Soft Touch Coating Oil

A two-component product cured by a low-temperature technique is offered. It is mainly applied as an exterior coating onto cured silicone rubber surfaces, and afterwards is cured at a high temperature (190–220°C). The coating is characterized by a smooth feel, resistance to friction, dustproof properties, and excellent covering and adhesion strength. Finished products such as silicone rubber keypads, adult products, photocopiers, and household appliances (e.g., remote controllers) are produced.

  Processing methods:  


1. Engage the ready silicone rubber in second cure (190℃-200℃, 8-10minutes ), wash clean the surfaces   

2. Add 3% of platinum catalyst into the silicone resin for mixture and dilute with solvent(white gas) six times ,try small quantity first followed by mass input of the solvent when diluting the silicone resin.

3. Please filtrate with 300-400 mesh filter screen for twice before uploading in the spraying gun

4. Leave alone the ready silicone resin for 3-8minutes in the dust-free plant before the spraying process.

   Attentions:   

1.Make sure you mix the opened product thoroughly. While you're working with the ink, add the platinum catalyst before thinning the ink.
2. Spray in a clean environment – a dust‑free plant is best. Keep the temperature between 20 and 30°C and humidity around 55–75%.
3. The silicone rubber needs a second cure at over 150°C for 10 to 30 minutes. If you don't, the paint on the rubber won't cure well.
4. Heat up slowly during the curing phase. If you bake right after spraying, the finish won't be shiny.
5. You have to use the mixed silicone resin within 12 hours. If you seal it and keep it cool, it'll stay usable longer.
