Soft Touch Coating Oil

The product is a two-component formulation that adopts a low-temperature curing mechanism. It is mainly used for coating the outside of already cured silicone rubber parts. The coated parts are then cured at a high temperature ranging from 190°C to 220°C. This coating is characterized by a smooth feeling, good friction resistance, dustproof capability, and strong coverage and adhesion. End products include silicone rubber keypads, adult products, photocopiers, and home appliances like remote controls.

  Processing methods:  


1. Engage the ready silicone rubber in second cure (190℃-200℃, 8-10minutes ), wash clean the surfaces   

2. Add 3% of platinum catalyst into the silicone resin for mixture and dilute with solvent(white gas) six times ,try small quantity first followed by mass input of the solvent when diluting the silicone resin.

3. Please filtrate with 300-400 mesh filter screen for twice before uploading in the spraying gun

4. Leave alone the ready silicone resin for 3-8minutes in the dust-free plant before the spraying process.

   Attentions:   

Step 1 – Mixing: Evenly mix the opened product. When processing the ink, introduce the platinum catalyst prior to diluting the ink.
Step 2 – Spraying environment: Use a dust‑free facility if possible. Keep temperature at 20–30°C and humidity at 55–75%.
Step 3 – Second cure: Cure the silicone rubber again at >150°C for 10–30 minutes. Skipping this leads to poor paint curing on rubber surfaces.
Step 4 – Temperature ramp: During curing, raise the temperature slowly. Baking immediately after spraying will ruin shininess.
Step 5 – Pot life: Consume the mixed silicone resin within 12 hours. Low‑temperature sealed storage lengthens activation time.
