Product Description

Silicone strip bonding/cutting equipment

This specialized adhesive is engineered exclusively for extruded silicone gaskets. Boasting an optically clear finish, it undergoes rapid thermal curing to form a resilient silicone polymer, guaranteeing an irreversible and permanent bond across all silicone rubber joint cord interfaces.

Method of application
1,Adhesive preparation – Combine KL‑301G(A), (B), and (C) strictly in the mass ratio 10:10:1 (e.g., 10 g A + 10 g B + 1 g C), mixing until homogeneous. 
2,Application – Deposit the mix onto a thin carrier foil at a wet film thickness ≤0.5 mm.

3, Surface activation – Preheat the silicone gasket ends on the heated mould to enhance subsequent adhesion.

4, Transfer – Pick up a minimal adhesive film on the preheated ends.

5,Assembly – Manually mate the two cord ends without delay, ensuring the adhesive has not yet cured; apply continuous horizontal force until the top mould closes, guaranteeing intimate interfacial contact.

6,Cure – Hold the closed mould at 180 °C for 10–20 seconds, then release and allow the bonded part to cool naturally to room temperature—this cooling step is essential for achieving the specified ultimate bond strength.

Visual inspection of the finished gaskets (see photo) confirms that the bonded interface remains visually apparent after the process.
