Product Description

Silicone strip bonding/cutting equipment

When applied to extruded silicone rubber gaskets, this clear transparent adhesive undergoes rapid polymerization in high-temperature environments. The result is a swift conversion to solid silicone, which permanently fuses the silicone rubber joint cords together.

Method of application
1, Mix parts A, B, and C in a 10:10:1 weight ratio (say, 10 g A, 10 g B, and 1 g C). 
2, Spread the mix on a thin plate—make the coat no thicker than 0.5 mm.


3, Warm up the gasket ends on the hot mould beforehand—this really helps the bond.


4, Dab a tiny bit of adhesive onto those warm ends.


5, Then, quickly press the two ends together by hand (don’t let the glue set too early), keep pushing sideways until the top mould comes down to press everything flat.


6, Leave the mould closed for about 10–20 seconds at 180 °C, so the adhesive gets enough heat to cure properly. After that, let it cool down to room temperature—that’s when it gets its full strength.


You’ll still see the joint line on the finished gasket, just like in the photo.
