CL-PA-AB, a type of silicone primer, serves as an adhesive agent to join uncured silicone rubber (addition-cure & peroxide systems) with metal, PA, PET and more materials.
●Good adhesion ●Long storage for after-primer-coated substrates ●High temperature tolerance for second cure of silicone rubber
Appearance
Transparent liquid or gel
Viscosity
<100000mpa.s
Temperature Resistance:
-60~180℃
Specifical gravity
1.28 g/cm3
1. Chemical treatment of the substrate with solvent, Cleare oil and dust . 2. Mix completely the A and B with ratio 1:1 and apply the primer by dipping, brushing, spraying or silk screen printing method.
3. Baking at 90-135℃ for 15-20mintes. 4. The primer treated substrates are processed within that day.
5. Foward the unvulcanized silicone rubber with primer-coated substrates in mouding process or hot air vulcanization.
1.Product storage requirements: Place in dry and shaded environments, and keep distant from heat sources and ignition points. 2. Secure the lid immediately after application to prevent volatile loss. Segregate unused primer during storage to prolong its service life. 3. The contained solvent poses health risks. The working site must be well ventilated and fire-resistant. Prolonged inhalation and dermal contact are prohibited. 4. A compatibility assessment between silicone primer and substrates is mandatory for mold curing operations. Ionic compounds of nitrogen, phosphorus, sulfur, tin, lead, mercury, antimony and bismuth will interfere with normal curing performance.
