Soft Touch Coating Oil

The product in question consists of two components and is cured using a low-temperature process. It serves primarily as an external coating for already cured silicone rubber surfaces, with a subsequent high-temperature curing step at 190–220°C. Notable characteristics include a smooth feeling, resistance to wear, dust protection, and strong covering and adhesive strength. This coating is applied to finished goods such as silicone rubber keypads, adult products, photocopiers, and home appliances like remote controllers.

  Processing methods:  


1. Engage the ready silicone rubber in second cure (190℃-200℃, 8-10minutes ), wash clean the surfaces   

2. Add 3% of platinum catalyst into the silicone resin for mixture and dilute with solvent(white gas) six times ,try small quantity first followed by mass input of the solvent when diluting the silicone resin.

3. Please filtrate with 300-400 mesh filter screen for twice before uploading in the spraying gun

4. Leave alone the ready silicone resin for 3-8minutes in the dust-free plant before the spraying process.

   Attentions:   

After opening the product, mix it evenly. When preparing the ink, add the platinum catalyst before diluting the ink. Spraying should take place in a suitable environment, ideally a dust‑free plant, with temperature controlled at 20–30°C and humidity at 55–75%. The silicone rubber must then undergo a second cure at above 150°C for 10 to 30 minutes; otherwise the paint on the silicone rubber surfaces will cure poorly. During the curing stage, raise the temperature slowly – baking immediately after spraying will result in poor shininess. Finally, the mixed silicone resin should be consumed within 12 hours, though sealed low‑temperature storage can prolong its activation time.
