Soft Touch Coating Oil
This two-component system cures at low temperatures and is designed for use as an outer layer on pre-cured silicone rubber surfaces. After application, it requires high-temperature curing (190–220°C). The coating delivers a smooth hand feel, excellent resistance to friction, protection against dust, and superior coverage and adhesion. It is commonly found on silicone rubber keypads, adult products, photocopiers, and household devices such as remote controllers.

Processing methods:
1. Engage the ready silicone rubber in second cure (190℃-200℃, 8-10minutes ), wash clean the surfaces
2. Add 3% of platinum catalyst into the silicone resin for mixture and dilute with solvent(white gas) six times ,try small quantity first followed by mass input of the solvent when diluting the silicone resin.
3. Please filtrate with 300-400 mesh filter screen for twice before uploading in the spraying gun
4. Leave alone the ready silicone resin for 3-8minutes in the dust-free plant before the spraying process.

Attentions:
1. The opened product shall be mixed uniformly. During ink processing, the platinum catalyst is to be added before the ink is diluted.
2. Spraying should be performed in a suitable environment, ideally a dust‑free plant, where the temperature is maintained at 20–30°C and humidity at 55–75%.
3. The silicone rubber must be subjected to a second cure at a temperature above 150°C for 10 to 30 minutes; otherwise, inadequate curing of the paint on the silicone rubber surfaces will occur.
4. The temperature is to be raised slowly throughout the curing stage. Immediate baking after the spraying process results in poor gloss.
5. The mixed silicone resin must be consumed within 12 hours. If stored sealed at a low temperature, its activation period can be extended.
