Soft Touch Coating Oil

This is a two-component product that uses a low-temperature curing method. It is mainly used as an outer coating on cured silicone rubber surfaces, and is cured at a high temperature of 190–220°C. The coating has a smooth feel, resists friction, repels dust, and offers good coverage and adhesion. Typical finished items include silicone rubber keypads, adult products, photocopiers, and home appliances like remote controls.

  Processing methods:  


1. Engage the ready silicone rubber in second cure (190℃-200℃, 8-10minutes ), wash clean the surfaces   

2. Add 3% of platinum catalyst into the silicone resin for mixture and dilute with solvent(white gas) six times ,try small quantity first followed by mass input of the solvent when diluting the silicone resin.

3. Please filtrate with 300-400 mesh filter screen for twice before uploading in the spraying gun

4. Leave alone the ready silicone resin for 3-8minutes in the dust-free plant before the spraying process.

   Attentions:   

•Mixing requirement: Homogenize the opened product. During ink preparation, incorporate the platinum catalyst before any dilution.
• Spray conditions: Optimally performed in a dust‑controlled plant. Parameters: 20–30°C, 55–75% RH.
• Post‑cure: Subject silicone rubber to a secondary cure at >150°C for 10–30 minutes. Omission results in incomplete paint cure on the rubber surface.
• Curing ramp: Apply a slow temperature rise. Flash baking after spraying impairs gloss.
• Working life: Mixed silicone resin must be used within 12 hours. Sealed low‑temperature storage extends activation window.
