Soft Touch Coating Oil

This is a two-component product that utilizes a low-temperature curing process. It is primarily applied as an external coating on cured silicone rubber surfaces, and then cured at high temperatures (190–220°C). The coating features a smooth tactile feel, excellent abrasion resistance, dust repellence, as well as strong covering and adhesion properties. Finished products include silicone rubber keypads, adult products, photocopiers, and household appliances such as remote controllers.

  Processing methods:  


1. Engage the ready silicone rubber in second cure (190℃-200℃, 8-10minutes ), wash clean the surfaces   

2. Add 3% of platinum catalyst into the silicone resin for mixture and dilute with solvent(white gas) six times ,try small quantity first followed by mass input of the solvent when diluting the silicone resin.

3. Please filtrate with 300-400 mesh filter screen for twice before uploading in the spraying gun

4. Leave alone the ready silicone resin for 3-8minutes in the dust-free plant before the spraying process.

   Attentions:   

1.Evenly mix the opened product. When processing the ink, add the platinum catalyst before diluting it.
2. Carry out spraying in a suitable environment – preferably a dust‑free facility – with temperature controlled at 20–30°C and humidity at 55–75%.
3. The silicone rubber must undergo a second cure at above 150°C for 10–30 minutes; otherwise, the paint on the silicone rubber surfaces will not cure properly.
4. Raise the temperature slowly during the curing stage. Baking immediately after spraying will lead to poor shininess.
5. Use the mixed silicone resin within 12 hours. Storing it sealed at low temperature can extend its activation time.
